In my discovery diary I had 3 wishes.
I must make sure I get those back.
So in this 2-4 day head-cold transition I missed out on as much social life as normally comes my way in 3 months.
- a stag do that involved drinking beer at pubs with pool tables and going into a recording studio and recording some songs!
- an evening listening to the remixed Beatles on big monitors in a recording studio.
Bit of a recording studio theme there, by coincidence.
Having never before been invited to a stag do that sounds like the kind of stag do worth locking horns over. Cue Eno ‘An Ending (Ascent)’
Today I did finish my Michel Thomas Advanced French course and am now admonished to read 10 minutes of French interviews per day without using a dictionary except for words that have come up 5 or 6 times.
I think I would like to talk only in subjunctives as they sound so cool.
